Is it possible to point to an
IP address instead of an URL?
No. Pointing to our IP address is not permitted because our services are hosted on a virtual environment across multiple servers and availability zones. Due to load-balancing and server shuffling activities, the IP address for an API may change at any time without notice, and therefore cannot be relied on to remain static.
The proper way to code to an QUODD API destination is via the API URL.
If you are currently a customer, and have any issues using our APIs, please email support@quodd.com.
