Expanded Coverage from US-only to 300,000 Global Fund NAVs from 74 Countries

We are excited to share that we have expanded our coverage of net asset value (NAV)  and dividend distributions data from US-only to coverage to more than 300,000 Global Funds and ETFs.

NAV data represents the per share/unit price of a mutual fund or an exchange-traded fund (ETF) on a specific date or time and is commonly used to identify potential investment opportunities within mutual funds, ETFs or indexes. This type of data is essential for many QUODD clients who use the data to power their robo-advisor, trading, and risk apps to make a recommendation as to whether the underlying asset is considered a worthwhile investment, and if there is fair valuation in the market.

The fundamentals data is supplied to QUODD from Morningstar and includes portfolio, performance, and operational data along with NAVs, and Morningstar exclusives such as Morningstar Category and Style Boxes. Developers can request one or many data points and funds using Security identification by Symbol, MorningstarID, CUSIP, ISIN, or Valoren, with just a single API call.

The global fund NAVs data is available in our GlobalFundsFundamentals API that also provides credit quality, risk statistics, strategy, top holdings, asset allocations, sector weightings on more than 300,000 funds from 74 countries, including ETFs, closed-end funds, mutual funds, open-ended funds, variable annuities underlying funds, separate account/collective investment trusts, and hedge funds. We also provide US Only NAVs data, sourced from NASDAQ, through our NAVs API.

QUODD APIs are cloud-native and offer a robust selection of use-case-based endpoints. Developers can easily integrate these endpoints into their product or app, regardless of type, amount, or frequency of data, without the need for any complex integration logic. We have created a new NAVs and Distribution Category for our Fund Fundamentals API and added 3 new endpoints:

  • GetFundNAVs -  Returns the latest closing NAV for a collection of funds.
  • GetFundHistoricalNAVs - Returns the historical NAVs for a fund based on a start date and end date.
  • GetFundDividendHistory - Returns the dividend distributions for a fund based on a start date and end date.
